CBF( Cameroon Bible Fellowship) Gathers Cameroonian Pastors and Missionaries for Pivotal Board Meeting and Elective General Assembly
Bafoussam , Cameroon – June 22, 2025.
Independent Fundamental Baptist ministries in Cameroon, successfully concluded their annual Board Meeting on June 20th, followed by a highly anticipated Elective General Assembly on June 21st, 2025. These crucial gatherings, held in Bafoussam, brought together pastors, missionaries, and church leaders from across Cameroon for a time of reflection, strategic planning, and significant leadership transitions.
Board Meeting Sets the Stage for Future Initiatives.
The Board Meeting, held on Thursday, June 20th, saw the assembly of CBF Churches convened to share ministry testimonies, preach encouraging messages , assess current challenges, and lay out a strategic roadmap . Discussions focused on critical areas such as:
* Evangelism and Church Planting: Reports highlighted the continued efforts in spreading the Gospel to unreached communities. Challenges regarding the shut down of unregistered Churches by the government and seeking for short term a s well as long term Solutions,
The atmosphere was marked by fervent prayer, open dialogue, and a shared vision for advancing the Kingdom of God.
Elective General Assembly Ushers in New Leadership
The momentum continued on Friday, June 21st, with the Elective General Assembly. This democratic process, a cornerstone of the CBF’s governance, provided an opportunity for members to elect new leaders who will steer the Church’s mission to relate with the state of Cameroon for the next term.
After a transparent and prayerful electoral process, new executive members were voted into various leadership positions. The outgoing leadership was commended for their dedicated service and significant contributions to the growth and impact of the CBF. The newly elected officials expressed their gratitude and commitment to serving the the Lord with integrity and passion, outlining their immediate priorities. Volunteering to join and serve in the board saw its greatest enlisting.
